Why it is so important to work correctly at the computer, what influence on health is rendered by the wrong organization of a workplace? If the backbone spends long time without a support bends are bent. All heard about such disease as a scoliosis – a lateral curvature of a backbone.

The main danger of a scoliosis consists not only and not so much in appearance infringement. Bearing infringements, various curvatures of a backbone lead to “infringements” of nerves which leave the vertebral channel. And infringements of nerves can result, and result, to long back pains, hypertensive illness, an ischemic heart trouble, to an impotence (at men) and frigidity (at women) eventually!!!
In order to prevent all these horrors it is necessary to choose to yourself special so-called ergonomic (orthopedic) armchairs for work. The basic difference of an ergonomic armchair is presence of the special reference points precisely corresponding to physiological bends of a backbone.

The main source of aggression thus is drying of a cornea of an eye. At work at the computer our eyes blink in 6 times less often than in usual conditions. The basic function of blinking consists in humidifying of a cornea by a plaintive liquid. It is natural that at rare blinking the cornea becomes dry – and it is the basic damaging factor for an organ of vision and can lead to steady short-sightedness.

What to undertake?

Do special exercises for eyes. Turn away from the monitor, lift eyes up, from top to bottom, move eyes, “violently” blink. The more often you will make these exercises the more healthy will be your eyes.

The monitor (its top level) should be located hardly below level of eyes, the bottom part of the monitor should be inclined at a small angle to working place (it is located more close). It provides an optimum level of an inclination of a visual axis that will lead to smaller weariness of eyes.

These are, from my point of view, absolutely simple rules, following which is possible to secure yourself against a work adverse effect at the computer and to keep health for many long years.

In end of article I want to repeat once again that the sufficient motivation to performance of simple actions on safe work at the computer will lead to understanding of necessity of these actions.
