There are a lot of people who are so big fans of the films and shows about vampires. In 1966 a lot of children were excited when they heard that there was going to be broadcasted a show Dark Shadows. In 1997 we got a great opportunity to watch the series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” This story intrigued a lot of people who were interested in stories about vampires and the adventures of the slayers. Buffy is a young woman who grew up in California and could not even imagine that she was a chosen one. However, some time later she was informed about that. Buffy was taught how to fight the vampires and different monsters and there is no doubt that she is considered to be the first woman heroine who was able enough to fight all those evil creatures. She was not alone but fought together with some friends.
In 2009 a lot of people got acquainted with Twilight Sage and that has become extremely popular among people. Twilight did not let down a lot of people and presented viewers with one more juicy story about the vampires. After watching this film a lot of people came up with a decision to go to the bookstore and read the book there. This film features girl Bella Swan who moved from Arizona to small town Forks. She meets there a guy Edward Cullen and falls with him in love. This story is heart warming and at the same time heart breaking story.
True Blood is one more story that impressed me last year. This story is thrilling and at the same time romantic. Some of the people were so excited about these series that went immediately to the stores looking for them. It is not so easy to understand the main heroine of the film Sookie Stackhouse who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton. In each of the book Sookie becomes more mature and what is more, she becomes more attached to the supernatural and human characters.
These movies and books about the vampires will never become boring and all the time we are looking forward to watching them. We are always so excited when new material appears on the television because such stories are always something interesting and unusual. I hope that more and more movies like that appear on television.
