MMORPB is the acronym for Massive Multiplayer Online Role Play(ing) Game, and can be briefly described as a type of computer game that is played online and participated in by players all over the world who has access to a computer.

There are also players who chose to be more down to earth, literally that is, with events happening in the real world that resemble or are patterned after real places and, perhaps to be more realistic, places that are familiar to some players.
MUDs or Multi-User Dungeons were the MMORPGs first games. They are usually simple text based programs where the players use commands to control and interact with their character, the world, and other players. Although simple 2D graphical versions and even 3D MUDs do exist. Other early MMORPGs are browser based like the RuneScape played on the user’s browser, and this type is akin to the MUDs. These early MMORPGs are text based or in complex 3Ds and are as functional as the latter MORPGS, and are for the most part free.
