Every character in movie was a memorable performer; it may be the leading character – Devdas, who was immersed in his love of life – Paro; Paro, who loved Devdas immensely but destiny had something different in store for her; or Chandramukhi who found new definition of love in Devdas. The larger section which admired the movie was women as audience, who could easily relate themselves to the characters in the movie with paper napkin in hands off course as the film was really romantic and made audiences’ tears roll down. The movie was based on a novel and has being tested as a successful formula by directors of all genres in Bollywood. The love story of this movie unfailingly gripped the audience all the time; it may be Dilip Kumar or SRK.
AWARA
Raj Kapoor, the legendary star from Kapoor family with his extra ordinary talent and the very charming Nargis showed the ultimate chemistry on screen in ‘AWARA’. The movie was a super duper hit and was loved by its audience. Along with the intricate bonding between the actors, there was this romantic story and the awesome songs with lovely screening that made the movie a memorable romantic film in Bollywood history.
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge:
How can the list of most romantic Bollywood movies end without an entry from Sir Yash Chopra’s kitty? Undoubtedly, Yash Chopra has ruled the Bollywood’s romantic genre for decades and has contributed to some of the most loved romantic Bollywood movies. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge was one among his super duper hits which broke all the records of silver screen and was admired immensely by Indian audience. The movie is still being screened in the famous theatre of Mumbai – Maratha Mandir. Hats off to the romantic chemistry of charming Kajol and the lovely Shah Rukh in the movie!
Kal Ho Na Ho
Now it was the time for little Johar to show his creative moves in Bollywood. KJ not only rocked whole country but also its NRI audience with its 3rd romantic movie ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’. The flick was all about three friends set in NY. SRK plays the role of an angelic friend in the movie, who fills all the happiness in life of Naina (Preity Zinta) and Rohit (Saif Ali Khan)! The movie was not only admired by audience but it also gave handsome return to KJ’s Dharma Production.
