Nowadays The Beatles could be called the top selling artists in the world. And there is no one who can argue this. And of course, there is a reason for this.

Another thing to take into consideration is that even after the legendary band had ended, they were still popular and successful. In 1976 The Beatles had a top 10 hit with Got to Get You into My Life. Do not forget that this was only 6 years after the band had ended and 10 years after the song had been released.
However, every participant of the band deserves several words about. In fact, is one thing that proves that even after breaking up, The Beatles was still a real success. Each participant of the legendary band had at least one number one single as a solo artist. To say the truth, you will not find any other band in history that is able to make the same claim. After breaking up, George, Ringo and John worked as solo artists. However Paul McCartney started one of the most successful groups of the 1970s with Wings.
After John Lennon had achieved his number one single as a solo artist he took some years off of recording in order to raise his son. We could only imagine how many more number one singles he would have produced if he had not leaved the music industry.
Today it can be said that The Beatles are one of the most successful artists of all time. To say the truth, their music is out of time and is still heard on radio and TV even if it was released four decades ago.
